Touring Begins

The tour began with Aspen playing solo at the Silverton Gallery on the last day of January. About fifty people filled the theatre, which is a great venue with lovely sound. The community was warm and welcoming with some lovely donations of home baking which made the break great too. Local resident Mat Fry of the Cup and Saucer sang a few traditional balads to help round our the evening.

On February 5th Thistledowne joined Aspen in the Old Firehall in Rossland. This is another wonderful venue and the crowd was very supportive. It was a great kick-off to the trio's tour.

We’ve applied for the Kispiox, Wells and Midsummer festivals. Aspen would love to get up north but we need to string together a few gigs to make the travel do-able.
